Joint bachelor and bachelorette party ideas

Couples Dancing And Drinking At Evening Party
Traditionally, the women have a bachelorette party, and the men throw a separate event for the groom. But some couples are tossing this idea out the window to combine their parties into one big exciting affair.

Now you’re thinking, why in the world would you give up your day with the gals (or guys) to do a joint party? First, it can be cost effective to combine both parties, depending on the type and size of the event of course. Plus, it gives the entire wedding party a chance to mingle and really get to know one another. Send personalized invitations to each party goer and consider some of these fun ideas for the joint party:

Picnic and softball
Men versus women! Get together with your wedding party for a little friendly competition. Each gender can wear different shirts and play against one another in a game of softball. You could play co-ed teams, but then you can’t hold it over your sweetie’s head when your team wins. Once the game has come to an end, you all can enjoy a picnic in the park complete with all the fixings and celebrate with a bit of champagne.

Comedy show
All of the groomsmen and bridesmaids can have a few laughs at the show and then meet up for drinks afterward at a karaoke bar to sing your hearts out or just see where the night takes you!

Casino night
Gather all of the guys and gals together to play cards, whether it’s blackjack or poker. Keep it upscale with a formal dress code, invitation and plenty of martinis – shaken, not stirred.
