Nuptials fit for a princess

After seeing the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, step out of the hospital holding her newborn looking absolutely stunning, we were reminded of how beautiful she looked when she tied the knot to her prince. Because every girl should feel like a princess on her wedding day, here are a few royal suggestions for making your big day a little bit more regal:

Wedding invitations
Give your guests a quick glimpse of the future with an invitation fit for a princess. This Royal Invitation is simple yet elegant, and the gold text at the top adds the perfect royal touch, setting the tone for your big day.

A non-traditional ring
Kate and William have set the trend for more non-traditional rings to come back into style. The prince "put a ring on it" using an 18-carat sapphire and diamond engagement ring – the same that belonged to his late mother, Princess Diana.

Wedding dress with a vintage twist
Kate's drop-dead gorgeous wedding gown was equipped with lace sleeves, which showed just enough skin and provided a unique vintage twist to the look. If you have chosen to walk down the aisle in a long-sleeved lace number as well, complete the ensemble with tear drop earrings and a regal tiara, just like Kate.

Go green
Kate and William went green with their wedding, using local, seasonal flowers for all of their arrangements, which conserved fuel energy. They also used Maple and Hornbeam potted trees for their ceremony, which were reused for the reception. They then planted those same trees in local parks, freshening up the area. This royal couple is proof that a wedding can be environmentally friendly and still look breathtaking!

Pure white bouquet
Kate took her white wedding bouquet from Queen Victoria, who started the tradition of a pure white dress and white flowers. Kate used lily of the valley, hyacinth and myrtle. Talk to your florist about which white flowers would work best for your venue and time of year.
