Country Wedding
Natural colors, hay bales and burlap.

If you like how that sounds then you will love a country look for your wedding!

Here are some ideas for putting together a natural country look that’s great for weddings in the spring, summer or fall.

First pick the perfect invitation, like our Love Gingham – Invitation with a checkered heart pattern and burlap background. Use it as color inspiration to bring everything together. We personally like the color yellow for a country wedding.

Keep things light and natural to highlight your look. Have your bridesmaids wear short, flowy dresses and cowboy boots (it might be cute for you to wear boots under your dress too) and dress the men in casual attire – maybe add vests if you’re feeling a little fancy – so they’re unrestricted and comfortable.

For the men’s boutonnieres, keep it simple with dusty miller, yellow mums and a touch of baby’s-breath finished off with a little bit of jute cord. For your bouquet, use white and pale yellow carnations and mix in eucalyptus and sunflowers to give it dimension. Wrap it with burlap to give it a complete look. You can also use these flowers to decorate the centerpieces of the tables!

To keep the country feeling, use picnic tables with linen and burlap covers instead of the usual tables and chairs. Cute burlap favor bags would look perfect on the tables and give guests something tasty to snack on.  Include Horseshoe Drinking Jars for guests to use, these look awesome and make a great keepsake as well.

Add to décor using hay bales and personalized burlap banners, your guests will feel like they are right on the farm with all the careful planning you have done! And for a last minute, personal touch for the two of you- an I do Wooden Ring Box to hold your wedding bands on the big day. The engraving of your wedding date and initials makes it even more special!
