2013 color trends for your fall wedding

Fall is a great season to tie the knot. Between the rich color tones of orangey reds and golden yellows and the scenery that appears as if it came straight from a postcard, it’s no surprise couples choose this time of the year to exchange vows. One of the first things to decide when planning your wedding is what color palate to stick with. If you need some inspiration, take a note from some of Pantone’s 2013 color trend predictions:

Koi
This deep orange hue can be incorporated into your nuptials in a variety of ways. Decorate the ceremony or reception space with pumpkins, rock some Koi-colored pumps, display the hue on your reception tables with blooms or adorn your cake with the bold color. This Harvest – Terra Cotta and Scarlet – Invitation Ensemble perfectly reflects the Koi theme and even has a beautiful leaf etched into the stationery.

Samba
Samba is a deep red color that gives off a vibe of romance and glamour. Set the tone of your big day by sending out this Shimmer Invitation. Deep red roses would contrast beautifully against a white wedding gown. You can also inject the hue into your reception with dark red decorative paper lanterns and offer your guests red apples for a tasty snack that stays on theme. Pair this bold shade with a lighter color like yellow or gold.

Vivacious
The title of this color perfectly reflects its shade. This is a bold and dramatic shade of dark pink, demonstrated perfectly in this Fuchsia Shimmer Invitation. Incorporate the color through bright blooms, hair accessories, bridesmaid dresses, shoes, sweet treats and more.

Acai
A deep purple color is perfect for fall, just as the weather starts to cool down. Complement the eggplant hue with lighter shades of purple in your bouquet, cake or invitations, like this Lilac Invitation. Wear acai-hued shoes for a bright splash of color against your beautiful white dress or have your bridesmaids rock the glamorous shade.
