First day of school: everything’s in its place, everyone knows whose crayons are whose, everybody comes home with their own lunchbox.
Second day of school: utter chaos, stuff is everywhere, nobody knows what’s where. Lunchbox? What lunchbox?
To the rescue: adorable, printable labels kids can write their names on, mark their stuff with — and ta-da! chaos ended.
Here’s how to do it:
- download the printable labels
- print on full sheet labels
- AND / OR print on card stock to make tags
- cut apart
For sticker labels:
write the child’s name on each label and stick to…
- folders
- glue sticks
- rulers
- notebooks
- crayon boxes
- pencil sharpeners
For tags:
write the child’s name on each tag, punch, thread with jute cord and attach to:
- backpacks
- lunchboxes
- jackets
- larger items left in the classroom (sweaters, indoor shoes, nap mats, etc.)
Time? No more than an hour to print, cut out, write names and attach. A little more if you’re making tags with cord.
Cost? The printable labels are free, so you’ll just need the label sheets or card stock and jute cord for attaching.
