5 Fun Easter Ideas

Here are five ideas to help you keep the kids involved and entertained while you host a fun and family-friendly Easter celebration.

  1. We’ve shared these free printable Easter-themed tags before, but they’re so pretty we wanted to share them again. Print them out and use them to create garland or cupcake toppers or brainstorm ideas with the kids. They may surprise you with their creativity!

2. If the egg hunt is over, but the kiddos are still vibrating with excitement, and you need a way to calm them down, keep them amused (and distracted from all the goodies in their baskets) with free printable Easter-themed coloring pages.

3. Another fun activity for the whole family is decorating salt dough eggs. Older kids can do the project from start to finish, but if your children are too young to handle the wait times between steps, you can roll, bake and paint a batch in advance and let the kiddos go to town with paint pens.

4. Are you looking for a hostess gift or a small treat to tuck into a basket for older kids? Personalized stationery is always fun. Journals are great for budding authors, and we have Notepads & Post-it® Note sets in pretty spring colors.

5. Adults love sweet treats too! If you’re hosting Easter dinner, tuck a few jelly beans or a single decadent piece of chocolate into a favor box decorated with a pretty greenery pattern and set them at each place-setting.
