We’d been searching everywhere for new creative ideas for fall. There were just none out there. Zero. Everything had been done. We felt doomed.
We were comforting ourselves with (way too much) candy corn when one of us came across these adorable dryer vent pumpkins from Courtney at A Diamond in the Stuff.
They looked simple. They looked fun. Courtney had a great tutorial. We were on a candy corn sugar high. We had to try them.
We scrounged up some dryer vent, got out the glue guns and tools, raided our stash for cinnamon sticks and moss, picked up some paint from the craft store and BOOM! crushed it. We added a little gold paint to the cream pumpkin for some sparkle. We also talked about how fun it would be to make a batch in unique colors like teal and mustard or black and silver.
Thanks for the inspiration, Courtney, and thanks for sharing your ideas on A Diamond in the Stuff!
