There’s a lot of stationery to pick out for your big day. You’ll need save the date announcements, wedding invitations, place cards, wedding announcements and more. But you also have your wedding programs to think about. This is what guides your guests through the ceremony so that they can easily follow along. A wedding program traditionally includes information about any readings or songs, as well as events that take place during the ceremony. To put a creative spin on your programs, consider any of these ideas:
A crossword puzzle
For a fun touch to your programs, you can include a crossword puzzle with fun facts about your bridal party. Guests can complete these during cocktail hour and get a little more background info on your wedding party.
Include photos
Wedding programs don’t traditionally include photos, but there’s no rule that says you can’t! After all, it makes them more fun and interesting to look at. You and your future spouse could be holding up signs that notate the order of the ceremony. You can also include graphics of your wedding party so your guests know who is who.
Confetti
Attach small packets of confetti to your wedding programs so that your guests can shower you and your spouse at the ceremony’s end.
