It’s traditional to either host or attend a party on New Year’s Eve with lots of sparkle and champagne. While this is certainly a fun event, there are other memorable ways to ring in the new year that you may not have considered.

Send out fun personalized invitations detailing the ins and outs of the event so that your future guests can mark down the date. Purchase a wide variety of cheeses, crackers and fruit that pair well with the wines you have chosen.

A game tournament
If parties aren’t your thing, you can get friends together for a fun night in. Have everyone bring their favorite game to set up a tournament. Offer plenty of finger foods, drinks and cocktails. Make sure there is lots of comfortable seating so that everyone can take part in the games.
