Make your own dough
Instead of ordering in, make your own fresh dough that you can pair with a selection of delicious toppings. Prep the dough at least one day before the party so you can have it ready to go. With the variety of toppings, your guests can choose exactly what they want on their pizzas. Lay out plenty of veggies like peppers, arugula and tomatoes, along with meats like ham, pepperoni, bacon and sausage.
Keep the rest simple
The focus of your party is on pizza, so you don’t have to do a whole lot of other work. Set out a few bottles of wine, some beer, prepare a freshly tossed salad, and offer up a tray of two to three desserts.
Have multiple sheet pans
To keep the pizza-making process streamlined, you’ll want to have a few cookie sheets ready. One can be used to prep a pizza, while the other is for pulling fresh pizzas out of the oven.
Party favors
Send your guests home with the ability to make their very own pizzas. Provide them with recipe cards for grill-ready pizza dough that they can whip up at home. Tie a bit of rosemary to the card for the perfect rustic touch.
