Invitations
You’ll need to send out personalized invitations for your Irish-themed event. This green-colored Shamrock Celebration Invitation features a lucky four leaf clover in the background to set the stage for your St. Patrick’s Day soiree. On your invitations, you can encourage your guests to dress up for the occasion. Advise everyone to come in their best holiday-themed outfit (Look to the Lucky Charms leprechaun for inspiration!).
Green beverages
With green food coloring, any of the beverages served at your party can be turned the appropriate color for this holiday. Put a few drops into beer, water, milkshakes or any other drinks you may be serving. However, keep in mind that the food coloring will show up much better in lighter-colored beverages, so opt for light beer and stay away from dark-colored sodas like Coke, Pepsi and Dr. Pepper.
Pot of gold favors
Send your party guests home with mini pots of gold. We realize you may not have gold lying around to give away, so instead you can paint clay pots black and fill them with Rolos. This will satisfy everyone’s sweet tooth and is any easy way to say “thanks for coming!”
Scratch-off tickets
Place a scratch-off ticket on each guest’s plate. When they arrive, they can test their luck and may even win big!
Lucky Charms
This children’s cereal is perfect for decorating your St. Patrick’s Day party. You can fill bowls with Lucky Charms for a sweet snack or sprinkle it over your cupcakes for some color and extra flavor.
Limericks
For a fun party activity, you can give your guests a pen and paper and have them come up with their best limerick. Have everyone read their poems aloud and give a prize for the best or funniest one!
